Following the sell-out success of our 2008 bulbfields holiday in Holland and the popularity of last year's organised holidays, Select Sites have teamed up with Out & About magazine to put together a special series of holidays during 2008, taking you to various parts of France.
Each holiday includes ferry crossings, campsites, an evening meal and organised visits to places of interest - all at special, great value prices.

The holidays

This year's holidays are spaced through the year and each has a different theme.

Cherbourg Peninsula
3 - 10 June
If you've never been abroad before, then our campsite just 30 minutes from Cherbourg is the perfect introduction - you'll be surprised how easy it all is! And if you've been holidaying on the continent for years then why not stop at this often-overlooked region - you'll be amazed by how much there is to see & do.

The Marais Poitevin
30 June - 6 July
On this holiday you can explore the network of canals in the area bordering the Vendée and the Charente, visit the beautiful port of La Rochelle, cycle or walk along the many tracks near the campsite we have chosen for you, or enjoy a canoe trip.

Garden of France
1 - 8 September
Based in the picturesque town of Loches, just south west of Tours, the highlight if this holiday is a visit to the Château of Blois to see the famous son et lumière show and Maison de la Magie.

Wines of Saint-Emilion
15 - 22 September
The holiday begins with a visit to the town of St Emilion and an introduction to wine-tasting. The campsite, La Barbanne, is situated close the the town and is surrounded by vineyards. A full-day excursion to the nearby town of Duras to sample wines and gastronomic delights is also included. The annual festival of St Emilion takes place on the weekend prior to departure.
