Monday 30th June
Cross from Dover to Calais with P&O ferries.
Arrive at La Venise Verte campsite in Coulon, 30 miles from La Rochelle, in time for a welcome drink at the campsite reception at 7pm.

Tuesday 1st July
A free day to settle in at the campsite, or why not explore the area by bicycle or even canoe?

Wednesday 2nd July
An all-day event as you're taken on an exploration of the verdant Marais Poitevin region. In the morning, a coach will take you to La Maison des Marais, a museum devoted to the region. This will be followed by a lunch of regional specialities. In the afternoon you'll board a traditional flat-bottomed boat for a guided tour of the marshes, followed by the opportunity to sample more local specialities.

Thursday 3rd July
A free day - relax on the campsite or explore at your leisure.

Friday 4th July
A coach will take you to the historic coastal city of La Rochelle. In the morning, you'll have a guided visit of the city. a short boat trip, and a tasting of local food & drink. Then you have the afternoon to explore La Rochelle at leisure, whether you fancy window shopping or watching the boats in the harbour.

Saturday 5th July
A free day for you to do as you choose, before joining the other rally members for a farewell meal in the campsite restaurant that evening.

Sunday 6th July
Your final day presents further opportunities for exploring this idyllic area by canoe or by bike.

Sunday 6th July
Depart the campsite and head back to Calais for return crossing to Dover with P&O.

Prices

From £448 for car & caravan plus 2 people, from £413 for motorhome plus 2 people. Supplements are payable for additional people and for vehicles over 6m long or over 1.8m high.

Included in the price are the above-mentioned excursions with coach pick-up from the campsite (including boat trips & food tasting), 7 nights on a pitch with electricity, welcome drink and farewell meal, midweek ferry crossings as listed above.

Bicycle hire is available from the campsite at 76€ per couple for the week.
Canoe hire is available for 32€ per couple for half a day.
