Monday 1st September
Cross the Channel with P&O from Dover to Calais, then head down to Camping La Citadelle in Loches. Welcome drinks will be served at the campsite reception that evening.

Tuesday 2nd September
A free day enables you to settle you in at the campsite and familiarise yourself with the surrounding area.

Wednesday 3rd September
In the afternoon you'll be taken on a guided tour of the Château Royal de Blois, one of the many chateaux that dominate the Loire valley's landscape. This is followed by a visit to La Maison de la Magie where you will learn about all things magical, before being treated to a show here.
In the evening you'll dine at Le Triboulet, a traditional, family-run restaurant which overlooks the chateau, before enjoying the spectacular son et lumière show at Blois, with tales from France's history accompanied by spectacular special effects.

Thursday 4th September
After the excitement of the previous day it's time for a day of leisure, when you can relax on the campsite or explore the area on your own.

Friday 5th September
This morning you'll have a guided tour of the town of Loches, within walking distance of the campsite, including a trip on "le petit train" which takes you past all the sights.

Saturday 6th September
A free day, where you may choose to visit some of the other châteaux for which the region in renowned, or hire bikes to meander along the banks of the Loire.

Sunday 7th September
This evening you will enjoy a farewell meal at the campsite restaurant where you can reminisce on the events of the week.

Monday 8th September
Departure from the campsite and head to Calais for return crossing to Dover with P&O.

Prices

From £425 for car & caravan plus 2 people, from £395 for motorhome plus 2 people. Supplements are payable for additional people and for vehicles over 6m long or over 1.8m high.

Included in the price are:
Visits to the above-mentioned attractions including entrance fees, with coach transfers between the campsite & Blois on the Wednesday.
Welcome drinks, evening meal in Blois & farewell meal.
7 nights on a pitch with electricity.
